Project: Sterilizer packing

On September 28, 2023, a ‘fat boy’ has got its birth certification. For two months of system work, a palm fruit sterilizer was completed after proper design, drawing auditing, fabrication, assembly, radiographic exam, pressure testing and final finishing. We dress it green to highlight its energy saving features and the application on green field harvests. Total air-tightness to keep steam from leaking, novel clutch design to reduce abrasion of door seal, auto-welding seam to save electrodes while giving nice and strong joint. The outer dimension is precisely planned and executed to fit in a 40’ open-top container, easier for sea transportation to its final destination, African palm oil mill.

The ’fat boy’ sleeps tightly on truck deck. After land and sea travel, the day it stands up will see robust devour in and out, vital step to get healthy table palm oil from the raw red fruit.
