Animal feed plants are indispensable key equipment in modern breeding industry. These production lines use advanced processes and technologies to efficiently produce various types of animal feeds to meet the nutritional needs of different animals.

Animal feed plants usually include the following main components:

Raw material handling systems: Raw material handling systems are used to receive, store and pre-process a variety of raw materials, including grains, oilseeds, protein sources, vitamins, minerals and additives. These raw materials are transported to the mixing system after weighing, cleaning, grinding and other processing steps.

Mixing system: The mixing system mixes various raw materials together according to a specific formula to ensure that the feed contains the various nutrients required and that the formula of each batch of feed is consistent. The mixing process is usually accomplished with automated metering and mixing equipment.

Pelletizing system: The pelleting system processes the mixed feed ingredients into granules for easy storage, transportation and feeding. This process is usually accomplished by methods such as compression or extrusion, where the feed ingredients are compressed into uniformly sized particles through a die or extruder.

Cooling and drying system: After the finished feed is pelleted, it needs to be cooled and dried to reduce the temperature and humidity and improve the quality and preservation of the feed. Cooling and drying systems usually use circulating air cooling and hot air drying processes.

Screening and packaging system: After the finished feed is cooled and dried, it needs to be screened to remove impurities and packaged for sale and transportation. Packaging systems typically include automated weighing, packaging and sealing equipment that bags, cans or bags finished feed.
